Monthly General Membership meetings the first Tuesday of each month, free breakfasts the second Saturday of each month for all military personnel and their immediate families, host Memorial Day and Veterans' Day Ceremonies, provide an honor guard, flag retirements, shooting sports program, fundraisers including Cruise Ins, Great American Legion Banana Split Celebrations, and Sleep Out for Homeless Veterans, weekly BINGO sessions Wednesday evenings and Friday mornings, Military Museum, support of several local nonprofits, active in the Covington Business Association and St Tammany Parish Chamber of Commerce and participants in numerous community parades and social events.
