VETS sponsors Flag Retirement Ceremony's at Veterans Home of California - Ventura and at The Oxnard Elks Lodge # 1443 in Oxnard, California. Also VETS is trying to raise funds to maintain American Flags flying on the Ventura Pier and is trying to get Flagpoles and Flags representing not on the USA but all 50 states and other countries. Paul "The Flag Man" Bramson will also have solar lighting on these flagpoles to comply to the United States Flag Code requirements of proper night lighting. VETS is determined to help low income and homeless veterans to stop there panhandling by way of getting them work to help make the city of Ventura and Ventura county the most patriotic by having the most flags on homes and businesses per capita than any other city and county in the USA.
