Comments on the Military and Business Ownership...
“My first major assignment was as the Principle Instructor in the Marine Carpentry shop, The Transportation School, Fort Eustis, VA. This had me running a 80,000 square foot wood working factory, and an instructional school teaching enlisted men the repair of harbor craft of the US Army. So, I ran an educational / manufacturing business, learning supply management, scheduling, production and inventory planning, personnel supervision and time allocation. A great start to a 58 year business career.”
